Ahh the glitz and the glamour of awards shows!  Like the many celebs that donned our slim shaper this season, we plan to wear Slimpressions when the winners of the 2010 Undie Awards are announced in a few short weeks. 

It's more than a cliche.  It truly is an honor to be in the running.  We've worked hard to create a premium line of body slimmers that exceed expectations.  Even though it took us longer than we planned to launch our original designs (three years in fact, but who's counting?), we're proud that we took the time to get it right in shape clothing line.  We asked a variety of women to comment on each version and we're glad we invested the time and money necessary  to perfect our women's shapewear and to create solutions that women love.  (Thanks to all of you that have shared your stories with us...How Slimpressions make you look better in your clothes and feel better about yourself.  We love that you love our body shapers!)

The key to dressing to give the illusion of being thinner than you actually are begins as so many things do...with the foundation.  

We HIGHLY recommend having a professional bra fitting.  As Oprah revealed several years ago on The Oprah Winfrey show, a bra that fits correctly can actually make you look ten pounds thinner (depending on the size of your "girls").  Many of our retailers do professional bra fittings so please check out our store locator for a location nearest you.  It's well worth it!

Imagine my surprise when someone from "Team Slim" forwarded me a video that an amazing woman posted on YouTube recently.  Julie, who has worked so hard to lose a lot of weight, has been dealing with excess skin as a result.  She won a Slimpressions body shaper at a recent event and surprised us with the unsolicited video review.  (That video is featured at the bottom of our home page. Thank you, Julie, for sharing your thoughts on our women's shapewear.  We were truly moved.  We've worked really hard to create a superior line of body shapers and we loved hearing how much you love Slimpressions. Slimpressions are slimtastic, indeed!   We were in development for three years before we launched our founding, patent-pending body slimmers.  Our products had to be just right.  We were committed to creating a seamless slim shaper that molded and conformed to every body type, not just the ideal body types like ones with pieces of fabric sewn together.  We wanted them to be as powerful as possible but as thin as possible.  We wanted to address an issue that so many shapewear junkies complained about....Garments that roll up.  That's why ours are long and sit on the hips...to avoid the "action zone", as I like to call it, and minimize those dreaded roll-ups.  And Slimpressions absolutely needed to be comfortable.  We wear them all day too!  Created for women, by women.  Now THAT's how we roll!  :)
