Shapewear: It’s not just for special occasions anymore

There was a time in our history when women discreetly turned to body shapers (ie girdles, etc.) to help them smooth out their lumps and bumps. The body slimmer would help women look better on the outside and feel better on the inside. Those days are behind us.
 
Today, women proudly wear their slim shaper like a badge of honor. They enjoy the fact they can have their cake and eat it too! There is much to celebrate in life. To me, my soft spots are a symbol of the many celebrations in my life - the birthday parties, the graduations, the weddings, the business successes, etc.  
 
Back in the day, women might wear special occasion shapewear to such events. You know the ones. Those dreaded body slimmer that have a three hour expiration on them. After three hours you long to get them off and BREATHE! I have these too mind you. There are times when you need to pull out the big guns for sure.
