Uncovered, In the News Industry-Wide Launches A new women’s shapewear line called Slimpressions made its debut at CURVENY in February. Unlike many traditional shapers, which focus on the waist, hips, and thighs, Slimpressions shapewear is designed to slim flabby underarms as well as unsightly back fat rolls. Creators Amy Pedersen and Jennifer Daniels introduced two primary lines: the Haves and the Have-Nots. Each line caters to women of different bust sizes, offering cut-out tops for the Have-Nots to avoid minimizing breasts, while the Haves offer fuller coverage and support for bustier women. Both styles include an undershirt-type garment that the wearer steps into, which smoothes arms with a half-sleeve, and smoothes back and waist with full-coverage compression. The styles come in four colors: black, brown, white, and nude. The suggested retail price point is $72.
